Jonathan Fletcher

Head of Fundraising Partnerships, World Vision, NZ

In his role as Head of Fundraising Partnerships at World Vision, Jonathan (Jono) plays a key role in developing and strengthening partnerships with a variety of key stakeholders including major donors, church leaders, schools, and other partners, all of whom support and amplify the work that World Vision NZ does both in NZ and globally.

Jono feels very privileged to be in a position where he can help bring about life-changing impact for vulnerable children and communities around the world, which in turn has made a profound impact on his own life.

 Whether travelling to developing contexts like Malawi, Uganda, Ethiopia, Solomon Islands, Bangladesh and Rwanda, or fragile contexts such as the West Bank or Jordan or seeing World Vison’s work related to human trafficking in Myanmar, Jonathan is always impressed by the skill and commitment of World Vision’s local staff in country.

As a man of faith, he is honoured to live out God’s word every day, helping to raise awareness that every child is precious, everyone is our neighbour, and all children have the right to live life in all its fullness.
